What Smells Like Blue?

I finally broke out the lovely indigo blue-colored printmaking ink. I got it about three months ago and promptly forgot about it. It's a little more difficult to work with than the black ink for some reason - the consistency is a bit different (or at least seems like it to me), but I did manage to make it work! Blue lino prints are available in my shop HERE   (I will be adding more...) Coral Snakes

I just finished making these coral snake earrings for my shop and got to thinking about the confusion surrounding coral snake ID (the earrings could represent the eastern or Texas species) v. their harmless mimics. Rather than re-invent the wheel (much too lazy for that!) I found this wonderful blog post to share about coral snakes and their mimics here: Red and Yellow Kills a Fellow? Your Identification Guide to Tri-color snakes. | Snake Buddies Thank you Snake Buddies for an excellent post!
